Business Continuity Management Toolkit

Business Continuity Management Tookit

The UK HM Government has done a great job putting this toolkit in place, which is very useful for anyone working with BCP or Operational Risk. The toolkit essential goal is to help put the theory into practice through objective steps that a BCP manager will need to take to implement BCM in an organisation. This is a very pragmatic toolkit with a step-by-step guide on the six elements that make up the BCM lifecycle as set out in the Business Continuity Management Standard (BS25999).

Although this toolkit is applicable to all sizes of organisation across all sectors, it has been developed specifically for small and medium organisations in the commercial and voluntary sector that are relatively new to BCM. This is an extremely useful toolkit and checklist, even if you already have a BCM strategy in place, to help you spot any aspect that can be improved.
